Personal History:Cassidy, their birth name Cassandra Feyton-Nova, was born the youngest of the 7 children of the CEOs of the Feyton Mining company and Nova heavy refining. As the youngest child, they would never have inherited anything from the family outside of a cut of her parent's wealth. As a result, they were a rebellious child up till their ninteenth birthday.
As an young adult, they started to resent their family, wishing to exist for herself instead of having their family's name weighing over their head like a metaphorical Sword of Damocles. As a result of this and a falling out with their mother and father, they actively ran away from their home on LO-7, running to the planet that LO-7 orbited around Polymia.
After they ran away from home, they lived on the planet for a year until the Affini made their presence known, seizing the xenophobia and the start of the Terran Domestication War to fast track their identity change as they enlisted as a naval engineer
During the war, they had managed to get themself enlisted onto one of the key battlecruisers that made up the terran defence line; The Flame of Terra. While most of their days were filled with routine drills and improving their skills working on the weapons systems for the battlecruiser
Once the Affini had breached the defence line, the Flame of Terra immediately fled, but not before firing off some weapons on an Affini command ship. During this assault, Cassidy's right arm was crushed in the missile loading mechanism.
This incident, followed by their command's lack of care for Cassidy's wellbeing, started to simmer a deep disdain for their higher command and a deep feeling of being unwanted and disposable. This fully culminated in an incident a year after losing their arm, where they attacked the first officer using the cheap prosthetic arm they gave them for cutting down her medication and berating her performance, managing to leave the first officer blind in one eye and disfigured.
As they attempted to escape from the warship in an escape pod, they accidentally set off the ship's emergency beacon, alerting the ships presence to everyone in a few systems over... Including the Affini. As Cassidy managed to escape from the Flame of Terra, they were swiftly found by the Affini.

Before her domestication, Cassidy was very much quiet and reserved, usually keeping to themselves and not wanting to cause any sort of trouble, something that was effectively beating into them by their father. This also brewed into a form of rebellion against any form of authority figure, though they had to tone this down once they joined the Terran Cosmic Navy.
Despite this, they did still try to make some friends onboard the ship, to fill the void in their heart left by almost two decades of abuse, but nothing could really fill that void, so they ended up becoming bitter and, in some part due to the Diazepam taken for their anxiety, started to ideate suicide.

He held himself and his family name in high regard, something that drove him to odds with Cassidy. It was his abusive hand that forced them to run away, something he very much didn't care more
After the war ended and the terran people were domesticated, Markus desperately held onto his capitalist ideals, fleeing to some part of space in his own private star-yacht. After this point, while his yacht was later found, he himself was never seen again, the only thing out of place on the boat was small tufts of fur near his neatly placed shoes and one of the yacht's display set to Affini propaganda.
From detective examinations, it is assumed that he witness his wife under the effects of domestication, and chose to path of self-termination rather than to succumb to the Affini.

She was also very distant and cold with her children, leading all but one of them to become equally as bitter as they got roles in the two companies.
After the war ended, Felicity was one of the first terrans to seemingly embrace the Affini. However, this was mostly a farce, as she was discreetly funnelling weapons and supplies to feralist insurgents. However, her discreet dealings would eventually be found, leading to her involuntary domestication.
The last time she was seen in public, she was seen on an Affini propaganda broadcast, being used as a symbol for the failures of capitalism and the benefits of domestication.
